Sports-apparel maker Nike and consumer-electronics manufacturer Philips demonstrated this week the first digital audio players resulting from a partnership theyin late March. Philips displayed the devices at its annual electronics show in New York. The players include two removable flash memory-based players, the $200 psa 128 max and the $130 psa 64, both of which will be available this summer. A CD-based player, a $149 psa cd12 that plays full-size 12cm CDs, will also be available this summer. Another CD-based player, a $179 psa cd8 that plays 8cm CDs, will be available this fall.
