PeopleSoft on Monday announced new addition to its customer relationship management software. PeopleSoft's Predictive Analytics Solution for CRM uses data collected by companies to enable people in marketing and sales to predict the effectiveness of campaigns before they are launched. The software links to PeopleSoft's other enterprise resource planning business applications
The software maker said the product can help companies increase revenue by targeting sales and marketing efforts at those customers most likely to buy. In that way, PeopleSoft said the software can offload work from specialized statisticians and help to shorten sales cycles. No pricing was announced.
