'Orange is the New Black' creator bringing women's pro wrestling comedy to Netflix

Jenji Kohan will pack bodyslams and big hair into a new show inspired by the '80s women's pro-wrestling show "Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling".

"Orange is the New Black" creator Jenji Kohan is trading lockdown for leglocks with a new show for Netflix inspired by the women's pro wrestling show "G.L.O.W.", according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The new series, also called "G.L.O.W." tells the story of an out-of-work actress who finds herself a gig with the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, a very real women's pro wrestling promotion based in Las Vegas in the '80s.

Netflix has ordered 10 episodes of the half-hour comedy as it continues its push for original programming. "G.L.O.W." was co-created by Liz Flahive ("Homeland") and Carly Mensch ("Orange is the New Black"), who join Kohan as executive producers.

Season four of "Orange is the New Black" is set to air on Netflix on June 17.
