Optus keeps prices reasonably low for both devices, offering the Streak 7 on either an AU$29 tablet plan or outright for AU$279 with a prepaid SIM. The larger Acer tablet will be the cheapest on Optus' AU$39 per-month plan over 24 months.

The Dell and Acer join the Motorola Xoom to form the current range of tablets available at Optus at this time. Optus offered the self-branded Optus My Tab last Christmas, which has since been discontinued.

Notably missing from the Optus tablet range is Apple's iPad 2, which is available through both Telstra and Vodafone. Though Optus does not stock the iPad 2, it does advertise that its customers can choose an Optus SIM to connect the iPad to the Optus Open Network.
