One suit of armour to rule them all

Before he was into the whole giant-flaming-eyeball thing, Sauron wandered around in a pretty sweet set of spiky plate armour. Now, you too can stride around as the Lord of the Rings.

Well, if you have US$10,000 floating around, that is.

This full set of plate armour can be custom ordered from SRG Medieval Armor via the website BattleStuff, an online store that specialises in costuming for films, LARPers, SCA members ... anyone who likes to gear up in heavy metal and swing sharp things.

Each set of armour is custom-built for the buyer; although, if you want to wear it, you'll need a fitting. Each set can take up to five months to complete, with the final price to be negotiated — which means the US$10K outlay is probably just the price of the deposit. Ouch.

Mind you, that might be a small price to pay for ruling the world. Just make sure you stock up on eye-drops. That fire looks irritating.

And, if you really want to rule them all, make sure you pair it up with the One Ring.
