A new slimline lens-swapping camera arrives in the UK this month that helps you ditch your smartphone when you want to share your pictures online. The Olympus Pen E-PL6 comes with a free Wi-Fi card to make sure your selfies and Facebook photos are better than your phone can manage.

The E-PL6 is the latest in the Olympus Pen line of cameras that switches lenses from the Micro Four Thirds format. Different lenses create different effects in different situations, a trick previously reserved for bulky dSLR cameras but in recent years made more lightweight and accessible by mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras like this one.

Currently available only in Japan, the E-PL6 is a 16.1-megapixel camera that shoots 1080p video and 3D photos, with a tilting 3-inch screen to frame your shots.

In the week that Sony unveiled a smartphone designed specifically for selfies, the folks at Olympus want you to ditch your smartphone camera when shooting and sharing snaps, so they've thrown in a free Wi-Fi-capable Toshiba FlashAir SD card. The FlashAir is a memory card that also connects via Wi-Fi to the Internet.

There's an Olympus Image Share smartphone app so you can send your pictures to your phone to email them, share them online, or just back them up so you don't lose your pictures should you lose your camera.

Along with the Wi-Fi FlashAir card, the "Expression Kit" also comes with a slimline 14-42mm, 1:3.5-5.6 pancake lens. The kit costs £430 and is on sale in the UK in mid-July.
