After the Black Plague wipes out much of England, it's up to Jane Austen's classic heroines to put down the tea cup, grab a weapon and start protecting their loved ones from the undead in the upcoming movie "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies."
"Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" -- which is based on the 2009 Quirk Books horror parody of the Austen novel "Pride and Prejudice" -- shows the, played by Lily James (Lady Rose MacClare on "Downton Abbey") as she attempts to succeed in high society while killing as many zombies. While wearing a corset.
In the new full-length trailer, released Thursday, we spot former "Doctor Who" Time Lord Matt Smith as Mr. Collins, Sam Riley of "Maleficent" as Mr. Darcy and Douglas Booth of "Great Expectations" as Mr. Bingley.
And that mysterious woman wearing the eye-patch is none other than Lena Headey, who plays wine-guzzling "Game of Thrones" villainess Cersei Lannister.
In fact, Headey has the best line in the whole trailer. "I don't know which I admire more; your skill as a warrior or your resolve as a woman," she says.
Headey isn't the only "Game of Thrones" actor displaying a keen hatred for zombies. Charles Dance -- who played Tywin Lannister on "Game of Thrones" -- is Mr. Bennet, patriarch of the family.
There's plenty of slashing, punching, choking, shooting, blood spurting and blowing stuff up, so don't worry about being bored with a typical Regency romance.
Even the Bennet father reminds his daughters' suitors at dinner that a woman's place is not at the hearth but at the head of an army. "My daughters are trained for battle, sir, not the kitchen."
Watch the Bennet sisters in action with this new full-length trailer of "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies." The movie is due to roll out in theaters worldwide starting February 5.
