Netflix blames bad press for poor member growth

Sure, Netflix increased prices, but the company thinks headlines may have caused members to leave.

Netflix says member subscriptions slowed down in its latest quarter. The company warned that it would also see lackluster subscriber growth in the next quarter as well. However, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings says the increased revenue generated by the new price structure will allow the company to invest in better content. Hooray for more "Voltron: Legendary Defender!"
