Technically Incorrect offers a slightly twisted take on the tech that's taken over our lives.
Humans do love to see animals being cruel to each other.
I think it's a form of self-justification. Watching these things do nasty things makes humans not feel so bad about being cruel to each other.
Posted to Facebook by one Peter Rauenbuehler, the Nest Cam footage begins with what could have been headlights in the night but turns out to be the shining eyes of a mountain lion.
Somehow and somewhere, the creature has killed a deer and is dragging it through Rauenbuehler's garden in Hillsborough, California.
I imagine mountain lions do this quite regularly.
I once came upon a mountain lion in the Marin Headlands of California and was lucky that he fancied something hiding in the grass a little more than he fancied me.
The video has already soared to No. 15 on YouTube's trending chart and incited headlines such as "Mountain Lion Slaughters Wandering Deer at Front Porch."
But it's just another day in the animal kingdom. Just as it's another day on Facebook and YouTube.
