On this, I couldn't disagree with you more. To imply that this is just about politics is terribly wrong. That argument I would expect an unrepentant Microsoft to make.
If Microsoft thinks its Media Player and browser and many other rip-offs are so innovative, then why can't they sell them separately and require average consumers to go to the trouble of simply downloading and configuring them.
When Microsoft has to play by the same rules as its competitors, it complains.
Your opinion of which multimedia player is better is just that. Do you use multimedia players often? Windows Media Player on Mac stinks. I guess Apple should have "knifed the baby".
