Microsoft details Qwest deal

Microsoft and Qwest Communications on Tuesday announced details of a partnership that will offer MSN Internet service to customers of telecommunications provider Qwest. Under terms of the deal announced in April, Qwest customers with broadband digital subscriber line (DSL) service, as well as those with slower dial-up connections, will have access to MSN. Prices for the service will range from $18.95 per month for dial-up access to $39.95 and $49.95 per month for broadband access. Qwest's DSL network is available to about 3.5 million homes and businesses, and the company said it will add another 2.5 million homes and businesses in the next two years.
