Advanced Micro Devices has subpoenaed Microsoft as part of its antitrust case against chipmaking rival Intel, AMD announced Friday. Microsoft is onefrom which AMD has sought documents related to its case, which in pricing schemes designed to limit AMD's processor market share among PC and server vendors.
Intel has, saying AMD has no one but itself to blame for its market share position. AMD has actually gained since the case was filed last year. The two parties are scheduled to have a next Thursday, which should help set a timeline for the case.
