Storm. Cyclops. Wolverine. The X-Men movies have introduced us to a vast cast of superpowered mutants, but with over 50 years of comics to draw on, there are still plenty of cool and interesting heroes and villains who have yet to appear in a film.
With "X-Men: Apocalypse" out now, the cast of cinematic mutants has expanded even more. New faces in the new film include Psylocke and younger versions of mutants we met in previous movies, including Jean Grey and Nightcrawler. There are plenty left in the comics though, and we've rounded up some of our favourite characters who have yet to appear on the big screen -- click through the gallery to meet them.
Among them is Dazzler, the disco-dancing pop star and superhero, and Northstar, the Canadian speedster who was the first major gay hero in Marvel's history. Their powers range from sorcery to extreme good luck to, er, shooting gold balls out of their body. Hmm, maybe that last one doesn't need its own movie.
