@Link Networks, a regional high-speed Internet provider that served businesses in the Midwest, has informed customers that the company is shutting off service and liquidating its assets. @Link, which recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protections, was recently engaged in a contract dispute with one of its network providers.
A message on the company's Web site reads: "We regret to inform you that @Link is undergoing liquidation. The company is now in the control of creditors. We expect network operations to cease upon our vendors terminating network service. If you are an @Link customer, please find an alternative service provider immediately. We apologize for all inconveniences."
