Join a Mount Everest climb in real time, via Snapchat

Two veteran climbers are Snapchatting their way up the world's highest peak.

Using the Snapchat handle EverestNoFilter, a pair of veteran adventurers are documenting their climb up Mount Everest in real time. Adrian Ballinger and Cory Richards are posting dozens of still images and short videos to the service daily from Nepal.

In one of the team's recent snaps, Richards addresses the camera and answers a question about fear on such a dangerous ascent: "Every single time I get on a slope, it's scary. A little fear is super-healthy. A little fear is what keeps you alive."

The team is completing a final training run before attempting the push to the summit sometime in the next three weeks, according to CBS This Morning.
