The new 'Force Awakens' trailer, this time with Brooklyn accents

How do you make a great trailer even better? On the latest episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Kimmel's crew gives the new "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer a New York remix.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" is filming in Kimmel's hometown of Brooklyn this week. To celebrate, Kimmel and his crew gave the new a Big Apple remix on Wednesday night's show.

Kimmel asked his crew to provide voice-overs and general reaction as the trailer played in the background, and the crew delivered. They utter hilarious lines like "Why don't you keep up, you f***ing volleyball" in the scene where BB-8 is trying to keep up with Rey as they walk across the desert planet.

Perhaps the best scene is when Finn takes his lightsaber to face off against Kylo Ren, taunting the Sith Jedi by saying, "Come on! That's right. You think you're a tough guy?" Or maybe when the guy posing as Kylo Ren looks down at Vader's smashed-up mask, and says "Oh my God, what happened to your f***ing face?"

It's all pretty funny, and almost makes me wish the "Star Wars" characters really did have Brooklyn accents. Almost.

The third trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" aired during halftime of Monday Night Football this week and popped up on the official YouTube channel for Star Wars shortly after its television premiere.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" lands in theaters in the UK and Australia on December 17, followed by the US on December 18.
