iRise brings software simulation to BEA

Company releases product update and announces improved integration with BEA's Weblogic Workshop.

iRise released an update to its application simulation software and announced that it has improved integration with BEA System's WebLogic Workshop Java development tool.

iRise, which is based in El Segundo, Calif., said Monday that iRise Application Simulator 3.1 will make it easier to build an application prototype based on a set of written requirements. The company's software is used to cut down on development time by automatically generating a mock-up of an application from a software requirements document. iRise also that closer ties between its SimConnect product and BEA's WebLogic Workshop will allow developers to more quickly generate Web pages from Workshop.
