iPhone coming to Ireland

The Irish Times reports that the iPhone will be released next month in Ireland under O2 -- the same carrier for the iPhone in the UK. The iPhone will be available in 8GB an 16GB models, costing ?399 and ?499 (inclusive of VAT) respectively on March 14th. Tariffs (monthly subscription fees) will range from a ?45 to ?100.

O2 stores and Carphone Warehouse locations will carry the phone, and an 18-month contract will be required.
