The two HTC mobiles are now available for pre-order from Vodafone, expected to land in April.

The HTC One X and One S are now available for pre-order from Vodafone, and, just as predicted, the One X will come with Beats headphones. At least the first 10,000 units that are sold will.

The One X is free on a £41 a month, two year contract. For that you get 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data. The One S, meanwhile, is also free on a £36 a month, two year contract. That'll get you 600 minutes, unlimited texts, and 1GB of data. Should be enough to satisfy all but the most addicted mobile mavens.

You can see the full rundown of plans for the One X here, and One S over here. The One X will also be available on O2 on 5 April, though the oxygenated operator is yet to slap a price on it. Vodafone hasn't given a release date, but piecing together info from the two -- seriously, it's like a puzzle or something -- I'm guessing the handsets will be on sale early April. That was the month given by HTC when it announced the phones at Mobile World Congress last month too.

The One X has a huge 4.7-inch screen and quad-core chip. It runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich, bringing features like face unlock and the ability to group apps in folders. As hinted at by the Beats headphones, it packs Beats Audio tech inside too, making for bassier tunes. The One S, meanwhile, is the smaller brother of the One X (though not quite as diddy as the One V). It packs an 8-megapixel camera, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and Ice Cream Sandwich. They both look pretty great, but is the power of the One X overkill?

Will you be upgrading to either? Or are you holding out for the Samsung Galaxy S3? Let me know in the comments below, or on our Facebook page.
