HP unveils all-in-one machine

Hewlett-Packard introduced on Monday an all-in-one printer, scanner and copier, targeting the home market. It allows people to create projects such as family albums, greeting cards and banners. The HP PSC 750 is the smallest flatbed all-in-one from HP to date, one-third smaller than its predecessor. Unlike sheet-fed machines, the flatbed design enables scanning or copying of virtually anything. The inkjet printer produces 2400 by 1200 dpi color images on photo paper. The scanner offers 600 by 1200 dpi optical resolution, 9600 dpi enhanced resolution and 36-bit color. The HP PSC 750 is expected to ship this month and to sell for $299.
