HP cuts to the chase

The computer maker moves aggressively to boost its market share across a range of product lines.

Hewlett-Packard has been moving aggressively to boost its share in a host of markets. The company today cut prices on its OmniBook notebooks and some Vectra desktop PCs while rolling out new workstation models.
