The DNC's dossier on Hillary Clinton may have just been leaked

The same hacker who allegedly stole a playbook against Donald Trump has now released a dossier of information about Hillary Clinton. Both sets of info were allegedly obtained from the Democratic National Committee.

Hillary Clinton's emails may not be her only leaks. One week after Russian hackers allegedly broke into the Democratic National Committee's email servers and released a treasure trove of documents on presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump, a 78MB archive of documents about Clinton has been leaked on the internet as well.

Both the earlier Trump documents and today's Clinton archives were published by the same source: a Twitter account with the name "Guccifer 2.0." Guccifer likely refers to an earlier hacker who published documents about the family of presidents George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush, and later hacked a variety of celebrities including Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes.

In an interview with Motherboard, the owner of the Guccifer 2.0 Twitter account denied any connection to Russian hackers, a claim which the DNC called "disinformation." The Hillary Clinton campaign didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
