Free-roaming robot characters at Disneyland, powered by nightmare fuel (Tomorrow Daily 189)

Khail and Ashley aren't convinced that untethered robot characters roaming Disney theme parks is such a good idea. Plus, they explain how scientists grew a semi-working rat limb and discuss a shoe factory converted into a huge playground.

It's our last show of the week, and it's chock-full of crazy stories. Disney Research is working on robots that look like their famous characters, and would roam through their theme parks. We're sure that's a great plan that definitely won't terrify any children, guys. Totally. Fool. Proof.

In science news, a team in Massachusetts grew a freaking rat limb in their lab, complete with vascular and muscular structures. Someday, we might use this knowledge and research to bio-engineer a human limb for someone in need, which would be completely amazing and insane.

Lastly, we're talking about Museum City, which we didn't know existed until today (but now we want to go to there). It's a gigantic ex-shoe factory converted into a playground, with salvaged vehicles, parts, and other recycled bits all mixed together to create a wonderland of exploration and fun.

Have a great weekend!
