Former defense secretary joins IDT board

Former U.S. Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen has been appointed to the board of directors of IDT Telecom, a subsidiary of telecommunications service provider IDT that handles long-distance and calling-card calls. Cohen is a former U.S. senator from Maine who served four years as the country's secretary of defense in Bill Clinton's administration. Cohen is currently chief executive of the Cohen Group, a business consulting firm in Washington, D.C.
