Excite@Home CFO resigns

Excite@Home Chief Financial Officer Mark McEachen has resigned "to pursue other opportunities," according to the high-speed Internet company. Excite@Home, which is running short on cash and could be close to seeking bankruptcy protections if it doesn't secure more funding or sell some assets, said it is actively seeking a replacement for his position. McEachen, who joined the broadband Internet company in July 2000, replaced former CFO Ken Goldman, who left Excite@Home last year.
