Drink your own coffee face

A coffee chain in Taiwan is using laser-style printers to put the faces of its customers right on top of their own lattes.

If you'd consider sending someone a chocolate gift moulded in the shape of your own face, maybe this would be right up your alley: a coffee with your face printed on it.

Latte art can be pretty cool, and while we've seen experiments with modified printers before, this new initiative by Taiwanese chain Let's Cafe by convenience store Family Mart takes the foam.

Equipped with a printer head, the coffee machine accepts photos uploaded from the user's mobile phone, printing them out directly onto the coffee in chocolate. You can then choose to drink it yourself, or give it to your sweet baboo as an offering of your love. "Here, baby! Slurp my face!"

Careful. Contents may be hot.

Check it out in the video below. What do you reckon — would this take off in Australia?
