The 75-minute special will star Matt Smith, his predecessor David Tennant, new companion Jenna Coleman, Billie Piper and the fabulous John Hurt as a previously unseen incarnation of the time-travelling Gallifreyan.
The second screening at 7.30pm will be followed by a Doctor Who special at 8.45pm: "Doctor Who: An Adventure in Space and Time". It will take viewers back to 1963 to the show's earliest beginnings for the chronicle of how the beloved show came into being.
