The travel publication costs $29 for a yearly subscription or $3.95 for single issues; the baby-products guide is available for $4.95. Under the deal, NewsStand will receive commissions from Consumer Reports. Austin, Texas-based NewsStand publishes digital versions of printed publications over the Web. Among the publications are The New York Times, International Herald Tribune and Harvard Business Review. Consumers Union also publishes reports focused on health, new and used cars, and television.
