What a difference an inch makes. It's such a small unit of measurement, but in the world of monitors, it makes a huge difference.
Over the last few weeks, we've received plenty of complaints via e-mail about the monitor industry's trend of moving from away from making 24-inch monitors--each with 1,920x1,200-pixel resolution--to releasing 23-inch monitors--which have a 1,920x1,080-pixel resolution, or 2,048x1,152 pixels in rare cases.
We've accepted the industry's transition from 23-inch monitors to 24-inch monitors. And in some instances, especially in the case of 2,048x1,152-pixel resolution 23-inch displays, we actually prefer them to 24-inch models.
However, others obviously have not accepted the change. So to get them comfortable with the new world order, we're going to show them exactly what they're missing. We give you the five best 23-inch monitors we've reviewed. Thanks and you're welcome.
