CES 2016 is almost here. In less than a week, members of the tech industry will travel from around the world to converge on Las Vegas for the largest consumer tech show of the year.
That of course includes us, the largest consumer tech site in the world. As we do every year, CNET's expert editors will walk miles of show floor and conference halls to bring readers a look at the most exciting tech on the horizon. We'll be out in force at the Las Vegas Convention Center navigating the massive booths of tech's heavy hitters. And for a second year in a row, we'll be reporting from the newer, quirkier Tech West, too.
New to CES last year, Tech West breaks from some of the more traditional tech areas -- TVs, home theater systems, computers and gaming -- and instead puts the focus on newer technologies and smaller companies. Held at the Sands Expo, Tech West is home to the hottest emerging tech fields on display at the show. On the Tech West floor, companies show off health and fitness trackers, smart home tech, 3D printing, robotics and all manner of Internet-connected gadgets.
Some of what we find at Tech West is the most cutting-edge and promising tech at the show, and we want to see it all. If you have something really cool on display at Tech West, we want to hear about it.
During official show hours on Wednesday through Friday (January 6-8), we'll be accepting submissions for potential coverage on CNET. Come to our booth at Tech West (we're at booth #72138) and fill out the submission form on one of the available laptops. Our editors will review all submissions, picking the best and most innovative products for CNET coverage. Note that you must have a working product or prototype to be considered.
So stop by, say hi and show us what you've got. We can't wait to see you there.
