Cingular's Samsung SGH-D307

Cingular's Samsung SGH-D307

Sitting under a glass case at a CTIA press reception was the Samsung SGH-D307 smart phone. Styled closely to the now long-lost Motorola MPx (we're still not sure what happened to that device), the SGH-D307 has a similar dual-hinged design and a full QWERTY keyboard. Other features in this quad-band world phone (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) include Bluetooth, e-mail and Web access, voice recognition, and multiformat messaging support. Although nothing's official yet, Cingular is the likely carrier.
