The fun-loving Star Wars fan -- whose video has gotten over 140 million views at last count -- also got to hang out with "The Force Awakens" director J.J. Abrams.
In "The Late Late Show" video segment "Chewbacca Mom Takes James Corden to Work" that posted Monday, Payne drives Corden to his job and on the way picks up his carpool buddy for the day: Abrams.
Of course, as a Star Wars director Abrams, had to give Payne a few pointers on how to best act like Chewbacca while wearing the roaring Wookiee mask.
Corden also gets in on the act and puts on a Wookiee mask. That's a lot of Wookiee roaring in one car.
"I am such a J.J. Abrams fan, that blew my world away," Payne told Corden later on "The Late Late Show" on CBS. (Editors' note: CBS is the parent company of CNET.)
"Candace, you are an inspiration," Mayhew wrote in a message. "Your attitude and lovely message really resonates and with spreading the good word of Star Wars with a heart, well it's so much of why we do what we do."
And from there Mayhew invites Payne and her family, who live in Texas, to the upcoming Dallas Fan Expo to meet him personally.
Now that's how a Wookiee wins all around.
