Now that the Facebook "Like" button is all over the darned Internet, it's turning out to be both a privacy nightmare (shocker) and a security risk, to boot. Look for tortured nautical analogies about halfway through the show. In bigger news, though, Steve Jobs takes the stage at All Things D (we dissect) and AT&T makes big changes to its data plan offerings (we debate).

Today’s featured Buzz Out Loud remix at the end of the show:
consider this scenario:
1. woman looks up walking directions from point a to point b.
2. google on phone says 3 km…woman thinks its doable and starts
3. woman walks 2 km and reaches a highway.
4. woman can now walk back 2km or walk 100m on highway, continue to point b and avoid walking next time
if i was in her place, i would have made the same decision – and hell yes, google should be liable for putting me there.
love the show
In The Morning to you BOL!
With all the tablet news you have been reporting on, I'm suprised you haven't commented on Lenovo's delay/cancellation of the U1 (from this past CES). I was REALLY looking forward to this release and, as I recall, you were too (citation needed). The switch to Android is a plus (Skylight seemed weak), but who knows if we will ever see go to production now... any thoughts?
