Star Wars fans who love to cosplay know the best costume investment is Stormtrooper armor. If you're really dedicated, you'll even dance while dressed as a Stormtrooper, though to be fair, twerking while wearing Star Wars armor is no easy task.
These new "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" costumes from Anovos mark the first time extremely detailed armor, helmets and more of the new First Order Stormtrooper designs have been available for fans to purchase.
Crafty cosplayers who know how to assemble their own armored outfits can save some money by ordering a First Order Stormtrooper kit from Anovos for $2,225 (roughly £1,520 or AU$3,075).
The rest of us who'd rather reenact our favorite scenes from "The Force Awakens" in costume than sit around figuring out how to piece together armor can preorder this First Order Stormtrooper costume fully assembled for $6,915 (roughly £4,737 or AU$9,556).
The costume is designed to fit people between 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet (1.7 to 1.8 meters) tall.
The black undersuit is two pieces, with a mock turtleneck collar and stirrups. The body armor pieces made of white ABS plastic. The costume also comes with leather boots, gloves and a belt with storage pouches. The fiberglass Stormtrooper helmet is assembled and ready to wear.
This head-to-toe costume is only available through July 31, with a standard version without helmet and boots to be offered in August. Anovos is taking preorders for both the kit and the assembled costumes now, with orders expected to ship later this year.
For fans who would rather dress as old-school characters for the original Star Wars movies, Anovos has other high-end costumes, including Luke Skywalker's Bespin uniform and Han Solo's outfit, as well as Darth Vader's dark side garb. Anovos also has impressive original trilogy costumes for TIE Fighter pilots and Snowtroopers.
