Banking on RSS

American Express has started a beta program to offer credit card customers services delivered via RSS.

According to a company questionnaire soliciting beta testers, American Express plans to offer feeds for events, travel and shopping to its customers. Information will be delivered using RSS (Really Simple Syndication) protocol.

Microsoft is building RSS support directly in the Longhorn edition of Windows and expects use to grow substantially.
