Apple set to release new Final Cut Pro

    Apple Computer said Thursday that it will release Final Cut Pro 4, the latest version of its professional video editing program, June 14. The program is priced at $999 for new users and $399 as an upgrade for existing Final Cut Pro customers.

    Apple at the National Association of Broadcasters show in April. Along with 300 new features, Final Cut Pro 4 comes bundled with three new applications: LiveType for advanced titling, Soundtrack for music creation, and Compressor for full-featured batch transcoding.
