Welcome to CNET Australia's App of the Day, where you can see some of the coolest, silliest and most useful apps in action.
If you want cloud storage, there's Dropbox. If you want lots of cloud storage for free, there's Box. Like Dropbox, it allows you to store your files on a cloud server so that you can access them from any web-enabled device. You can upload content from your PC to your Box account, and download it to your Android or Apple phone or tablet. From there, you can edit it, save it and return it to your storage. For US$15 per month, you can upgrade your storage limit to 1000GB, but here's the ace news for Android users: if you sign in through the Android app before 23 March, you get a free 50GB account — compared to the 2GB offered by Dropbox. That's a pretty sweet deal. There are more deals for other device owners, so check out support.box.net for more details.
