Anna Faris and Rhys Darby star in flight safety video you might actually watch

Air New Zealand wants you to have a safe flight -- and it's using celebrities and social media to make that happen.

Air New Zealand is using the magic of celebrities and social media to make sure you have a safe flight.

The airline's latest advert comes in the form of a short film starring NZ comic Rhys Darby and Anna Faris of "Scary Movie" fame. You can find the YouTube clip above: you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll learn about airline safety.

It's not the first time Air New Zealand has gone to great, presumably expensive lengths to get passengers to actually watch the safety announcement. In 2014, the company commissioned a brilliant Hobbit-based safety video.
