When you come face to face with deadly aliens, there's only one thing to do. Run!

And that's exactly the advice on the first poster for the upcoming film "Alien: Covenant," the sequel to 2012's "Prometheus."

In director Ridley Scott's "Alien: Covenant," the crew of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think is an uncharted paradise. But it's actually a dangerous world whose only inhabitant is the synthetic David, played by Michael Fassbender. He's a survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

The film also stars Noomi Rapace reprising her role as Dr. Elizabeth, as well as actors Shaw Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Billy Crudup and Guy Pearce.

Originally scheduled to debut in theaters on August 4, 2017, the release date for "Alien: Covenant" has been moved up three months earlier to May 19.
