Alexa moving beyond the Echo as Amazon talks to PC maker Lenovo

Amazon is talking with Lenovo about putting the voice assistant on PCs. Meanwhile, Space X hits another setback after its Falcon 9 rocket explodes.

The digital assistants are all making their way to your PC. Amazon has met with Lenovo to talk about putting Alexa on PCs. CNET Update looks at the trend and what it means for the future of Alexa. With PC shipments on the decline, it's no surprise Lenovo would want Alexa on its machines. Lenovo is trying other tricks to keep laptops fresh for consumers -- even replacing the keyboard with a touchscreen in the new Yoga Book.

Update also covers the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket explosion in Florida. Not only is it a setback for SpaceX, but it also was bad news for Facebook. The blast also destroyed the cargo aboard the rocket, including a satellite that was to be used by Facebook.
