Split activity in one browser across multiple accounts by adding Profiles to Chrome.

For some time now Google has offered the ability to log in across multiple Google accounts while you're in your browser. Handy if you have a mixture of personal and professional accounts all under the Google umbrella. But what about Google's browser itself?

If you share a computer and use Google Chrome you can now set up multiple user profiles, each logged into a different Google account. This separates your lists of bookmarks, your browser history, any saved passwords, so each profile's activity can sync back to that user's browsers on other computers.

To set it up, hit the settings spanner and go to Preferences. Click Personal Stuff and then Add New User. You'll now see an icon on the top of the browser bar to represent each profile. Customise it to whichever cute icon you prefer and you're off and racing.
