    Apple iPad Mini 4

Small iPad comes with big price

The iPad Mini 4 is small, but its price tag is a different story. It's one of the most high-end (read: expensive) models on this list, however its fast performance and excellent design make it a great investment.

  • Dell Venue 8 7000

    Slim, sleek and sturdy

This aluminum-clad Venue 8 7000 looks sleek enough to be the iPad's cousin. It has a smooth, matte finish and satisfyingly sturdy feel. It runs a mostly pure version of Android, save for some special Dell software (or bloatware, if you prefer).

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 with AnyPen

    Quirky, killer design

Running a full version of Windows 10, the Yoga Tab 2 features a unique design. Not only does it have a built-in kickstand and a rounded spine to easily grab in one hand (like a magazine), you can also use any metal object as a stylus.
