You can be the Audiophiliac for a day
Next month, the Audiophiliac will turn over the reins of his blog to one lucky reader. It could be you.
The Audiophiliac blog is almost six years old. I've written about everything from Spotify to dynamic range compression; from atrocious sounding music to the 30-year-old iPod; from the man with 230 turntables to 3D printing LPs and even a guy who makes boom boxes out of old suitcases, (not to mention the craziest high-end gear), but it's always about sound and music.
I always love to hear from Audiophiliac readers, but this time I'd like to give one of you a chance to spout a bit of audiophile wisdom. Write a great "think piece" about gear, sound, low- or high-end audio, and I'll let you have the floor. If you have something to say about what's wrong with the audio or music business, or maybe a wish list of products that need to be invented, send it to me, and I might post your article on this blog.
I'm definitely not looking for product reviews, but any audio/sound-quality-related subject is up for grabs. Feel free to take a view opposing mine -- just don't write about the Audiophiliac.
The piece should be between 400 and 600 words. There will only be one entry chosen for publication. The deadline for entries is Monday, August 12.
