We're cooking up something new at CES this year. If you've got a prototype for the next big thing, bring it by our booth at Tech West for a chance to have your product featured in a CNET First Look video.
It's time once again for us to peer into the future of technology. Yes, it's time for CES.
Just like every year, CNET will send a small army of writers, editors and on-air personalities to bring you an expert's view of the most important and interesting things happening in consumer technology. But we're also doing something entirely new this year and are excited to share what we've cooked up.
As always, the International CES 2015 show will feature thousands of products by hundreds of companies. But new to the show this year is a whole new area at the Sands Expo called Tech West. Tech West will feature the innovative power behind tomorrow's industry, showcasing revolutions in fitness and health, 3D printing, robotics, the Internet of things, sensors and other high-growth technologies changing the way we live, work and play.
In this spirit, CNET will have a second stage, located at Tech West and designed to capture the best emerging products at CES. We'll give innovators -- maybe even you -- the opportunity to pitch their products to a CNET editor and earn a First Look filming session. First Look videos will be featured on CNET.com -- in front of the largest and most influential tech-loving audience in the world.
If you've got a prototype for the next big thing, stop by our booth at Tech West to tell us about it. You can submit some basic information about your product at our booth beginning Tuesday morning. If our editors think your product is among the best submissions, we'll invite you back to our stage so we can shoot a CNET First Look video and show off your idea to the world.
Of course, we'll talk to you anywhere at CES -- at our booth in South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, at your company's booth, at press events, waiting in the bathroom line (note: please do not actually pitch us a story in the bathroom line). But we're pretty excited about giving people this unique chance to show off their big ideas in front of a huge international audience.
That's what we've been plotting. Now come by Tech West and show us what you've been up to.
