Domain name registrar VeriSign and Internet payment technology developer eOne Global said Thursday that they signed an agreement to market each other's products and services as well as develop technology to provide online payment options by businesses engaged in e-commerce. VeriSign will make a $20 million investment in eOne and its SurePay business unit as part of the deal. The two companies said they plan to integrate their respective online payment products--VeriSign's PayFlow and eOne's SurePay system. The combined products will be sold to online exchanges, business-to-business companies and financial companies.
