TransChip reels in $5.5 million

TransChip on Wednesday said it raised a $5.5 million third round of funding, led by Mission Ventures and Cadence. Also participating in the round were previous investors Ray Stata, Analog Devices co-founder, and Andrew Viterbi, Qualcomm co-founder.
TransChip, based in Israel, develops single-chip camera technologies for mobile phones and has raised a total of $11.7 million.
