Allyson Seelinger, Symantec's vice president of global channel sales and strategy, will leave the company Oct. 14 to spend more time with her family, the company said in a statement. Seelinger, an 18-year Symantec employee, had helped develop the global channel strategy and led the partner organization for the security company.
Seelinger will be replaced by Julie Parrish, Symantec's vice president of enterprise, midmarket and channel marketing. Parrish previously oversaw the channel for storage maker Veritas Software, which Symantec acquired earlier this year.
