TeacherSoft Launches All-in-One Net Pack

TeacherSoft, a Plano, Texas, educational multimedia developer has introduced an Internet software package called InterGo that combines browsing, searching, email, virus scanning, file transfer, telnet, content screening, and reference materials.

Intended for home and school use, InterGo has child-sensitive features including KinderGuard, InterGo's content screener. KinderGuard rates Net sources through an in-house editorial board and its search engine looks for objectionable terms. InterGo also supports SafeSurf, which, when enabled, will allow only sites with a SafeSurf rating to be viewed. A Windows 95 beta version of InterGo is available for viewing at the TeacherSoft Web site.
