Students to compete in Java, C++

Sun Microsystems and TopCoder will hold a $150,000 tournament next year for software developers still in college. More than 500 college students will compete using the Java or C++ programming languages and will be judged by the quality of the software they develop. The winner will be awarded $100,000, while the remaining money will be divvied up among the runners-up. TopCoder is a Connecticut-based company that organizes programming competitions for college students and professionals.
