TeleSym announced on Friday an additional $12.5 million in funding from Bay Partners, Intel Communications Fund, Northwest Venture Associates, Siemens Venture Capital and Thomas Weisel Partners.

The Bellevue, Wash.-based company has rung up $18 million since its founding in 2000. TeleSym's software allows voice phone calls to be made from mobile computers over wireless networks such as those based on Wi-Fi technology.
